Monokote Z-3306

Monokote Z-3306 Thermal Barrier is a cementitious fire protective coating specifically formulated for application over rigid, urethane and polystyrene foam plastics. It is spray-applied to interior foam surfaces on walls and ceilings and forms a hard durable monolithic thermal barrier against heat and fire.

It is a mill-mixed product requiring only the addition of water. It can be easily applied to required thickness in a single pass resulting in an efficient low-cost method of meeting building code and insurance requirements.

HIBAR

HIBAR is a spray applied fireproofing for use over rigid structural substrates such as open steel joists, beams, columns, floor/ceiling assemblies and exterior or partition wall units. It is also used as thermal insulation for prefabricated metal buildings, corrugated metal roof assemblies, the underside of concrete slabs and masonry or metal wall assemblies. It also offers acoustical benefits to ceilings and upper walls in noisy production areas or in large rooms such as gymnasiums or swimming pools where both sound absorption and aesthetic enhancement is desired.

HIBAR is an excellent condensation controller on exposed structural components that are in contact with cold exterior surfaces and cures to an off-white colour with attractively textured surface.

SP 2001F Fire Protection Coating

SP2001F is a design of several specially formulated resins and additives created to provide a base that is flexible enough to withstand severe climate changes, as well as severe heat peaks without loss of adhesion. A select group of ceramic materials are used in the formula to achieve a stoppage of heat, fire smoke and gasses from passing through the coating during a fire. This coating is designed to stay intact with constant adhesion above 2000ºF. This is an intumiscent coating that will swell to meet the flame and is a hybrid coating designed using intumiscent and ceramics. As the coating intumiscences, the ceramics harden and glaze together to form a solid fire block.

SP2001F resembles a thick, dark grey house paint that is applied in various methods. It does char on the surface to provide a first line protection with the ceramic base providing a heat block. It is not affected by humidity or water, and fights the appearance of condensation on its surface by the reaction of the ceramics. It is a natural corrosion-fungus/mildew-resistant coating when in operation against a fire.
